RARITAN TWP. – The 28th Hunterdon County Business & Home Expo and Restaurant Showcase will take place 2-7 p.m. Nov. 10 at Hunterdon Central Regional High School.
This year’s event, which is open at no charge to the public, will feature over 100 businesses and organizations from Hunterdon County and beyond, according to a news release.
The Restaurant Showcase will spotlight local restaurants serving complimentary samples from 5-7 p.m.
The theme of this year’s expo is “100 Years Strong,” coinciding with the Chamber’s centennial celebration.
“The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce has been the voice for Business for the past 100 years, advocating for a strong economic climate for all,” said Chris Phelan, president of the Chamber. “The strength and success of the Chamber of Commerce is a reflection of the strong leadership from our Board and Membership of the past century.”
The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the expo and showcase, according to the news release, because it focuses on the importance of shopping local and supporting Hunterdon County businesses.
Chamber members and sponsors play an important role in helping the Hunterdon County Business & Home Eexpo and Restaurant Showcase come together, it was stated in the release.
“PNC is happy to be the presenting sponsor of the EXPO once again,” said Frank Fuzo, PNC Bank senior vice president of government banking. “It is helpful for establishing a presence in the business community.”
Other Chamber members supporting the event include: HealthQuest of Hunterdon, Hunterdon Healthcare, NJ Advance Media, Flemington Car & Truck Family, ShopRite of Hunterdon County, Fulton Bank of New Jersey, Hunterdon County YMCA, Financial Resources Federal Credit Union, Domalena’s Hair & Nail Lounge, Raab Coins, Inc., Compass Self Storage, Anita’s Angels, and Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Local businesses look forward to this annual event since it allows them to meet with existing or potential customers throughout the day.
“I have been a participant of the Business and Home Expo for the past seven years,” said Tom M. Bay, owner of Anita’s Angels, Inc. “I believe this event displays an excellent variety of businesses and services available right here in Hunterdon County.
“I have personally found this EXPO to be extremely valuable to my business.”
